Mosasaurs are boss as fuck. That is all. (I’m fairly sure that I’m maybe the only person in the theater I was in who knew what a mosasaur was before Jurassic World was being worked on. Thanks documentaries!)

That arena though...
The grandstands that lower below the waterline? Brilliant

Saw the movie too. I kept thinking the whole time, “why did nobody bring a dinosaur slayer .50BMG.” One shot = dead dino.

I used to know all kinds of stuff about dinosaurs, then I kinda lost interest in them...

I know, hell a couple of AK47 armor piercing rounds to the head would of done the trick!

Intersting fact:
In reality, the largest mosasaur would’ve only been about 2 to 3 times the size of a great white, about 60 feet (still huge). I’ve now seen several sources that say that when you take into account the scale of this one compared to the shark and the pterodactyl, the one in the film is close to 670 feet long, or the size of the Seattle space needle with a pair of school pusses end-to-end on top of it.

Had the Mosasaur been a little pipsqueak like reality, it wouldnt have, well, you know, gotten the job done.
Or did it? Jurassic World II, coming soon.

Turns out, it was also part mosasaur.

They should have used the Liopleurodon

It was a good movie. But did Mercedes sponsor that?

Whoever thought of a Mosasaurus feeding show must have been a Steve Alten reader

Yeah, but then the movie would be too short

But dinosaurs are awesome

That is assuming the shark and pteranadon were both maximum sized tho.

Yep. They did the second movie as well.

I never watched the second one. I was wondering because every “new” car on the island was a Mercedes.

Ok, so maybe it was only 550 feet, minimum.

The whole plot of the movie was ‘we make custom dino’s to get crowds’. They probably genetically modified it to be gigantic

They are. No clue why I lost interest in them..

I did for a little while, but now I have a son and he loves them, so I pay attention to them again.

There we go. :P

Yarp. Nice seeing some Unimogs! Although that goofy suv just made me lol a bit.

Yeah. The weird crossover thing was ugly. Unimog were great though.
